Apostle Michael Wambua is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Word Temple Church of God International, a dynamic and rapidly growing ministry based in Eastleigh, Nairobi, with over 30 branches and affiliates nationwide. The ministry is committed to transforming lives through the teaching and preaching of the revealed Word of God.
He is an international preacher and teacher, having ministered in over 23 countries, impacting lives across nations with profound revelation, clarity, and spiritual authority. His teachings empower believers to walk in faith, power, and divine purpose.
Apostle Michael Wambua holds a Diploma in Transformational Church Leadership from Pan African University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from KAG East University, demonstrating his commitment to both spiritual depth and academic excellence.
He is also a dedicated writer, authoring books that equip, inspire, and strengthen individuals in their spiritual journey. His message emphasizes the revelation of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the practical application of God's Word in everyday life.
As a visionary leader, he is passionate about raising leaders, equipping ministers, and advancing the Kingdom of God—even through media platforms such as YouTube and television. Through conferences, teachings, media outreach, and leadership development, he continues to shape a generation that walks in truth, power, and spiritual authority.
Apostle Michael Wambua is a spiritual son of Bishop Dr. Wilfred Lai, under whose guidance and covering he continues to grow and impact lives. He is also a devoted husband and a proud father of two, faithfully balancing family life with his calling in ministry.
"I had stopped our monthly conference which God had commanded me to embark on in Eastleigh. I was waiting upon God to receive a Word from Him. Then on 1st December 2003, while I was in deep agony and prayer, God said to me concerning Eastleigh:
"Arise, take the land, for it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit."
Straightaway I knew it was from Zechariah 4:6. At God's command, on the 18th January 2004, WORD TEMPLE CHURCH took off in Eastleigh, following Lunch Hour Fellowships of teaching of the Word and prayer. Today the church is thriving powerfully.
Exodus 34:10 (NKJV) – "Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation. And all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the LORD. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you."
"From Vision to Revelation: The Gospel on Television"
On 8th February 2010, during morning prayer, God spoke, saying:
"This is the time and hour for this ministry to be on television."
For years, this divine vision remained before us. In 2020, the ministry expanded into the online space, taking another step in fulfilling what God Himself had revealed.
In January 2026, we began upgrading the online ministry and acquired new equipment for Revealed Gospel Television, preparing for the fulfillment of God's promise.
By the grace and faithfulness of God, Revealed Gospel Television (RG TV) was officially launched on 1st July 2026 and is now on air on Signet TV, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. What began as a word from God has become a living testimony of His faithfulness.

Reverend Bancy is a devoted servant of God, a passionate worshiper, and a committed preacher of the Gospel. As a mother of two, she beautifully balances family life with her calling in ministry.
She is the leader of the annual Daughters of the Kingdom Women Conference, where she inspires and equips women to rise into their God-given calling.
Reverend Bancy also serves as a youth patron, mentoring and guiding the younger generation in their spiritual journey.
She is the co-founder of Word Temple Church of God International, where she continues to impact lives through worship, teaching, and leadership.
